Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to welcome you here! My name is Megan, and I am a passionate yogi, bikini bodybuilding competitor, and personal trainer. I draw inspiration from the incredible potential of the human body, emphasizing the powerful mind-body connection that yoga brings.
Meet Megan
If you had told me ten years ago that I would be helping others improve their health through yoga, personal training, nutrition coaching, and mindfulness practices, I would have never believed you.
Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons of loss, setbacks, self-doubt, and uncertainty. Those challenges led me on a journey of self-discovery where I began exploring movement, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, and the powerful connection between the mind and body. What I discovered changed my life—and ultimately became my passion.
Today, I am the owner and founder of Lotus Strength Yoga, proudly serving Elkton, Maryland, and the surrounding communities through private yoga instruction, personal training, nutrition coaching, assisted stretching, meditation, workshops, and wellness events.
My mission is simple: to help people reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I believe that our bodies are incredibly intelligent. Every day they work to heal, adapt, and grow stronger. Whether it’s recovering from an injury, overcoming physical limitations, managing stress, improving flexibility, building strength, or simply finding balance in a busy world, the body has an amazing capacity for change when given the right support.
Unfortunately, many of us lose touch with that connection. We become disconnected from our breath, our movement, our nutrition, and even our own intuition. When that happens, we may experience pain, fatigue, frustration, or feel like we’ve lost confidence in ourselves.
At Lotus Strength Yoga, we focus on helping you rebuild that connection.
Every private session, class, and workshop is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re brand new to yoga, looking to improve mobility, seeking relief from chronic tension, wanting to build strength through personal training, or searching for a more holistic approach to wellness, you will find a supportive environment focused on your individual goals.
My background in Nutrition & Dietetics, personal training, and yoga allows me to take a whole-person approach to health. Together, we work on the foundations that truly matter: movement, breath, nutrition, recovery, mindset, and self-awareness.
But perhaps the most important thing I want you to know is this:
You do not need to be flexible to begin.
You do not need to be strong to begin.
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin.
You simply need a willingness to take the first step.
My goal is not just to help you improve your physical health. It is to help you develop confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself so that you can thrive in every area of your life.
