Have you ever been on your phone, and someone sends you a text, meme, or photo and have said to yourself or to the sender “this made my day.“? How did that make you feel?
Have you ever had an extra work sent your way that resulted in extra reward at the end of the week? Could be studying for an exam that you exceeded the grade you expected. It could have been a paycheck or bonus from doing great work for people. How did that make you feel?
Have you ever had an event or individual that changed your thinking or outlook on life? How did that make you feel?
Did you notice the last three questions built up to an overall outcome and feeling from that outcome. Now if we go in reverse order, that special person or that significant event is who or what changed our outlook on life. Our outlook on life is the reason why we carry ourselves a certain way, how we react, whether we show compassion, empathy, or love. It can also be the reason we do or don’t work extra: to study to get good grades to reach a degree, work harder for more income, or to achieve our next level. During that time are the days of where you place your mindset.
The changer here, is your mindset. Changing your mindset can have a profound impact on your outlook on life. The main thing is you are in control of which way it goes.
Shifting your mindset on a daily basis of handling stress in a more impactful way will 1000% benefit you more than you thought. You can significantly enhance your quality of life by letting go of the tension, focusing on what you are capable of for yourself, and learning to reduce stress.
Meditation is a practice of consciously choosing to focus on gratitude, positivity, and your mental solutions, you can reframe challenges as opportunities for growth, mental clarity, and mental focus. For an example, this can be learning to “declutter the mind” with the breathing techniques we practice in the Morning Meditation sessions. Embracing a mindset of abundance and resilience allows you to approach life’s hurdles with a sense of calm and determination, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and less stressful existence. Regular mindfulness practices and cultivating a positive outlook can also contribute to greater inner peace and mental well-being. Giving you the feeling of being a part of impacting the bigger picture whether that is in your family, your work, or the community that you are a part of.
If you feel like you are struggling to reach an outcome, feel like you are spinning in circles or working hard while getting nowhere. Stop take a moment to pause, breath in for 5 counts, hold, and then exhale for 5 counts.
